Another snow storm this weekend. Sure it wasn’t as cold as normal, and the snow wasn’t sticking to the roads, and we needed the moisture, yada yada yada. But to be perfectly honest, I’m done with the snow for the season. We already have been teased with 60 and 70 degree weather, so I’m confident that I’m not alone when I say enough snow!
I thought that we may have had a thief in our midst when our garbage can went missing. I decided to be a good investigator and review the video from our home security cameras before I contacted the authorities. Sure enough, we saw the wind from this last storm blow them from towards our neighbors who had them for safe keeping for us. If you ever have a need for a home or business security camera system, I highly recommend Rich from Colorado Springs Security Cameras (www.cossecuritycameras.com) to help you with purchasing and installing the right system for your situation.
Anyway, tomorrow will be May 1st, and I know there are a lot of people excited to get their outdoor activities under way. My 6 year old son has been enjoying cub scouts and will eager to have his first camping trip. Friends from Spain will be here this summer and we will take them white water rafting. And of course hiking and enjoying the Rocky Mountains will be on the agenda this summer as always.
Travel to Virginia is planned for the 4th of July week, but for business, not pleasure so I’m not sure how that will play out. I have never been to Richmond, but I’m sure it is not like Washington DC, but I’m willing to give it a chance, time permitting of course.
Anyway, keep your water bottle, bug spray and sunblock handy and enjoy the spring!
